The author of the book attempts on the basis of past experience and current trends to make a forecast of agriculture development in various regions of the world up to 2050. Main emphasis is placed on assessing the extent of availability of production resources and forecasting of efficiency of agricultural production. The peculiarities of the development of two sectors of agriculture (grain and meat) are marked out. The book offers an original concept of forecasting the productive sphere of the agricultural sector. It is based on a variety of economic and mathematical models for the countries of labor-saving (the West) and groundsaving (the East) technological mode of production. Consumer sphere of grain sector is estimated taking into account three different areas of its use, namely, food, feed and industrial (bio-energy). Attention is also paid to revealing the future of regions of the world with the deficit and surplus of food resources.
