This International Scientific Conference was organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies, RAS, Institute of History and Archaeology, ASM, and the Institute of Sociology, RAS. It was held on 13 – 14 October 2016 in Moscow at the Institute of Oriental Studies, RAS. The scholars from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ulan Bator, Ulan-Ude, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Chita, Novosibirsk, Elista, and Chelyabinsk participated in the conference. This brochure contains the timetable of the conference, its programme, and a list of participants in Russian and Mongolian. The theses of reports are represented only in Russian. The authors deal with such topics as: 95 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia; the 11th ASEM Jubilee Summit in Mongolia in July 2016; place of Mongolia in the modern world order; Russian-Mongolian cooperation in the field of culture, science, and education nowadays; trade and cultural relations between Russia and Mongolia from Genghis Khan to our days; Mongolo-Russian relationships during the Second World War; joint work on the “Great Academic Russian-Mongolian Dictionary” in four volumes. The reports also cover many other important themes.
