The issue consists of papers based on the materials of international scientific conference of the same name, organized on November 11–12, 2024, by the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The papers devoted to issues of Buddhism, its interaction with science, issues of Buddhology, history and culture of Tibet and some other Buddhist countries,
Tibetan-Mongolian relations, as well as researches using modern neuroscience methods on some processes and phenomena known from Buddhist treatises.
The book will be useful for historians, religious scholars, sociologists, neuroscientists and who is interested in Buddhism.
