The international scientific and practical conference, "The Situation in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Saharan-Sahelian Zone: Prospects for 2026," was organized by the Center for Scientific and Analytical Information at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Experts from the Middle East, North Africa, the Saharan-Sahelian Zone, Europe, and Latin America attended the conference.
In addition to CSAI IOS RAS staff, Russia was represented by speakers from the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, the Higher School of Economics, and the Russian Orthodox Church.
