The book is devoted to the most acute processes of our time – the expansion of the BRICS group, its role and place in the global economy, and the impact of BRICS expansion on the economies and politics of Asian and African countries. This is practically the first work that comprehensively examines the problems of the socio-economic development of the BRICS countries and partners, as well as the prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation The book shows how the expansion of the BRICS affects the strengthening of multipolarity; the financial systems in the BRICS countries are studied. The book analyzes how the environmental situation affects sustainable development in the BRICS countries. Much attention has been paid to logistics issues and the scientific and technological development of the BRICS countries. A special place in the book is occupied by a comparative analysis of the unification of the BRICS with the west countries. The book consists of four sections. The first one examines the BRICS countries on the world stage – their comparative analysis is made, and the vectors of influence are determined.
