The book is devoted to the III International scientific conference on use of archives in Oriental studies held at the Institute of the Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, in Moscow between 12 and 14 November, 2014. It includes List of the members of the Organizational Committee, the Program of the conference, abstracts of research papers presented to the conference, List of participants of the conference. About 70 experts from different regions of Russia, as well as from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Turkey took part in this Conference. The researchers presented the results of their work with archival documents concerning different historical periods of many Eastern countries. The papers are based on the materials from Russian and foreign archives. Appendix includes information on the “Oriental Archive” scientific magazine published by the Institute of Oriental Studies since 1998.
