An attempt was made to comprehensively and logically examine the main armed conflicts and wars that occurred in the Greater Middle East, from the 1960s through 2016 inclusive. The diverse nature of the emergence of conflict international relations, their specifics, as well as their active and increasing aggressive use by external forces, primarily the USA, are shown. The focus is on the most important armed conflicts and wars in the Middle East. The military-political strategy of the main players in the geopolitical struggle for the Middle East, including regional ones, as well as outside regional actors, such as the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Russia have been studied. In their study, the authors show the importance of the oil factor in the world economy, the political life of the region and in each state separately, as well as the interest of the world community in the hydrocarbon wealth and political climate in the region. They also analyse the specifics of the Arab-Israely relations and the features of interstate political relations in the region. The book is intended for lecturers, postgraduates, and students.
