In this edition I have significantly expanded and revised almost all sections of the monograph "Ethno-Political History of Taiwan in the World Historiography. XVII–XXI c.", published in 2018. In particular, it includes the new publications issued during 2012–2023, which reflect the main results and trends in the development of the global historiography over the past ten years. In general, this book examines the evolution of the national and foreign historiography on the Ethno-Political History of Taiwan during the XVII–XXI c. The great achievements of all the main research domains, schools and traditions (Western, Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese), accumulated during the four centuries of national, regional and global studies, are presented, for the first time ever, as the comprehensive, interrelated, integrated dynamic picture, that organically incorporates the 200 years old Russian historiography.
