The book is devoted to the most acute processes of our time – the development of Asian and African countries in the context of the transition to a multipolar world, their role in shaping multipolarity, and assessing the prospects for expanding economic cooperation between Russia and Asian and African countries. This is practically the first work to explore the prospects for future development in the transition to a multipolar world. It shows how acute global problems manifest themselves in such conditions, and how the expansion of BRICS affects the promotion of ideas of multipolarity. Much attention is paid to financial systems in a changing world, in particular, the Islamic financial system and the possibilities of fintech; it analyzes how the environmental situation in the giant countries (China and India) affects sustainable development in Asia and the world. The book consists of two sections: the first examines global issues, and the second examines the models of individual Asian countries that have emerged to date. It is on their basis that the transition to multipolarity will be carried out. Comprehensive studies on Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, China, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Tunisia, the Persian Gulf countries, and BRICS are presented. Conclusion: the collective West, while still retaining significant innovation potential, is relatively rapidly losing its global economic positions, giving way to developing countries in the Global South.
