The aim of the authors is to reconstruct the process of formation and transformation of satirical images of the enemies in Russian journalism during the World War I which formed and reflected the perceptions of the most part of Russian society. The work reveals to the reader the world of Russian journalistic satire which existed between patriotic response to hostile aggression and critical understanding of Russian proper problems under the conditions of the most powerful military, political, social, economic, and cultural crisis. The book dramatically testifies that research of human community reaction towards World War in satire form gives the possibility to the researchers to penetrate in cruel reality of war psychohistory.
