Fawa’id ul-Fu’ad (1308–1322) is a valuable source of the history, public thought, and culture of Delhi Sultanate epoch in India. These conversations of Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya with his disciples became a manual for followers of the Sufi order Chishti. In order to reinforce the theological concepts related to the field of intellectual mysticism, the narration includes entertaining parables, statements of Sufis-predecessors and even the poems of Caliph Ali.
