The international scientific and practical conference "The Domestic Political Situation in Afghanistan and Its Impact on the Security of Countries in the Region" was hosted by the Center for Scientific and Analytical Information of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CSAI IOS RAS). It was attended by experts from 10 countries, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS), the CSTO Secretariat and Parliamentary Assembly, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
A comprehensive range of issues and potential solutions was examined, reflecting matters of concern for all of Afghanistan’s neighboring states, the Russian Federation, as well as the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The collection includes reports from conference participants.
