The first volume of the general research project on the metamorphoses of Rus-Russia deals with the problems of genesis of society and statehood. The author analyses the first two metamorphoses and split of socium (majority communities living in the forests and ethno socially foreign to them cities). Attention is also paid to the primitive of the earliest forms of proto-state and formation, after the collapse of the Horde, strong, orientally sacralized autocracy, the mass arrival of foreign nobility, the emergence of serfdom, and forced orientation to the West. Characteristic of socium, politics, the ideological and institutional structure, economic system, and the dynamics of evolution is given in the book. The author shows how conservative stability and matrix with ideologeme of distrust, ill-will and hatred against others – the strangers, as well as against innovations defined the complexity and specific development of the state.

It is a unique six-volume research. On the background of a panoramic picture of history it gives the deep analysis of essence, the main problems and the unique character of the evolution of our country. The publication will be interesting to a different sort of experts and a wide range of readers who are not indifferent to the fate of Russia and want to gain an understanding of the complex and essence of Russian realities.
