The Egyptian Museum (or Museum of Cairo) is the world largest collection of ancient Egyptian art objects. It has about 120,000 items of all the historical periods of Ancient Egypt. Among them 27 mummies of the Pharaohs and their families are of special value. The Museum was opened in 1902. This art book includes illustrations of the most valuable museum exhibits and comments by E. Kormysheva. The book consists of the following sections: Predynastic and Early Dynastic Periods, Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, Tomb of Tutankhamen, Late Kingdom, Greco-Roman Period. Preface is written by E. Kormysheva.
