The dictionary is one in the series of Japanese-English-Russian dictionaries “Language of New Technology” launched in Russia in 2010 with the support of the largest Japanese companies and Russian authorities. The first volume, “Japanese-English-Russian Dictionary on Industrial Equipment Mounting” published in 2010, offers a versatile inter-industry set of commercial and technical terms applicable to the purchase and commissioning of industrial equipment in general. Each of the subsequent volumes is to be industry-specific and shall not include “general terms” given in the first volume. The dictionary in hand comprises terms of the following spheres of the building construction industry: preparation and organization of the building construction process, geodesic exploring and ground works, engineering and calculation, building constructions, building work, construction materials, mechanisms and instruments. The dictionary is supplied with Russian, English, Latin and kanji indices. It is meant for professionals and translators engaged in building construction practices, science, and supplies of construction materials and technical equipment. The dictionary is the first of its kind to be published.
