The Almanac “Evolution” was forethought with the aim of uniting the researchers in all spheres of evolution studies within this project. Evolution theory is one of the most fruitful fields of interdisciplinary knowledge in which experts in natural, hard and human sciences can find common basis for their investigations. The present monograph written by the team of authors is the 4th one in the series of the Almanacs under the title “Evolution”. The previous three issues were published under the following subtitles: “Cosmic, Biological, Social”; “Problems and Discussions”; “Debatable Questions of Global Evolutionary Processes”. The present 4th Almanac is named “Aspects of Modern Evolutionism”, because it contains several theoretical articles, revealing some features of evolutionism development at modern stage. This is particularly important in the light of the leading task of a new series of the Almanacs – the working out of a single megaparadigma, having some common methodological approaches, terms, methods and principles.
The Almanac also includes interesting papers on specific behavior of animals, as well as discussion of archaeologists and specialists in the history of primitive society about basically important problems of the initial stage of humanity evolution and formation of Homo sapiens, etc.
The Almanac will be useful for those who examine interdisciplinary macroproblems and specialists, working at separate problems, as well as for those who are interested, to a certain degree, in evolutionary problems of biology, history, anthropology, psychology, linguistics, and want to be acquainted with the latest achievements of natural, social and human sciences.
